About the Position
We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and caring Caregivers to provide personalized 1-on-1 in-home care to clients who need assistance with daily activities and support in the comfort of their own homes.
Our caregivers play an important role in helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate 1-on-1 care and companionship
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Provide medication reminders as directed
- Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe, clean environment
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or activities when needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition or behavior
- Follow each client's individualized care plan
- Maintain client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the care team
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, home health, CNA, PCA, or personal care experience preferred
- Must be dependable, compassionate, patient, and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely assist with mobility and daily activities
- Must pass required background checks
- Reliable transportation may be required depending on client assignment
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
