Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,475 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2474.68 Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Every other weekend and every other holiday required • No on-call responsibilities • 15-bed unit with all private rooms • Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 during days and 6:1 during nights • Float to other medical/surgical units as needed • Perform initial admissions and care for patients transitioning from the ER until they are assigned to a new unit • Care for general medical/surgical patients in a busy, fast-paced environment • Level I Trauma Center experience required • Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical experience required • EPIC charting system experience required • Proficient use of Zebra phones for communication, Omnicell for medications, and Aleris IV pumps • Required certification: BLS (AHA) • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs Facility: This acute care facility operates a Level I Trauma Center and features a dedicated medical/surgical unit designed to provide high-quality transitional care for patients moving from the emergency department to their assigned units.
