Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fargo, North Dakota. This position involves providing care to general medical-surgical patients within a 10-bed department. The role requires collaboration with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nurse will practice within the full scope of nursing expertise, utilize appropriate age-specific standards, and utilize equipment such as EMR-Epic, AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, and Telemetry. The shift consists of 12-hour rotating shifts with every other weekend and holiday commitments. Job Details: Shift: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and holiday Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) experience BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) ND or compact state Registered Nurse (RN) license, or willingness to obtain one Recent travel experience showing completion in previous assignments (not first-time travelers) and must have worked within the last year Experience working in a larger hospital (minimum 250 beds), level 2 or higher trauma center Must have Epic electronic medical record experience Preferred Qualifications: Not specified Float: Float rotation may be required as the nurse can float to any med/surg unit on any campus in Fargo as needed Additional Information: Candidates must have recent travel experience (preferably within the last year). Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility. Scrubs: Navy Blue. The facility has a 10-bed department with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 during the day shift and 6:1 during the night shift. The facilitys trauma level is 1. The organization requires compliance with the clients cancellation policy, which allows cancellation up to 12 hours prior every 13 weeks.
