Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,345 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Fargo, North Dakota. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Medical Surgical Nursing in a large, level 2 or higher trauma center located in the area. This position involves caring for medical surgical patients, including surgical oncology cases, and requires collaboration with inter-professional colleagues. The role requires adherence to department standards, utilization of electronic medical records, and competence within the full scope of nursing expertise. Job Details: Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday, with minimum 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Active ND or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (specify state in comments), at least 2 years of recent Medical Surgical (MS) experience in a hospital with 200 beds, level 2 or higher trauma certification or experience preferred, BLS (American Heart Association), EPIC electronic health record experience. Preferred Qualifications: Surgical oncology experience preferred but not required. Experience with surgical oncology patients is a plus. Float: Float to other units and departments as needed within the facility. Additional Information: The department has a 47-bed capacity, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 during the day and 6:1 at night. Orientation includes a one-day lead center training followed by two 12-hour shifts with a preceptor. Position Note: Candidates must badge in and out at the facility, wear navy blue scrubs, and provide good interview times in submission. Travel Note: No travelers living within 60 miles of the facility; local travel rate applies for those within 60-80 miles. Candidates living within 80 miles are considered local. The manager will contact shortlisted candidates for interviews prior to offering.
