The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering and managing client relationships, as well as implementing plans to retain existing contracts, expand current business opportunities, and acquire new contracts. This role requires the development and implementation of contract win and extension strategies, negotiation of various agreements, and engagement with a range of stakeholders, including prospective clients, airport staff, and political representatives. The Vice President will also be involved in project work planning, budget management, and ensuring the successful delivery of all contracts in partnership with the Operations Leadership. Applicants for the Vice President of Business Development position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' professional experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role focused on business development. A technical background in a senior-level business development role is essential, with a preference for candidates who have a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in airport F&B and/or retail, advanced financial analysis skills, and a strategic vision for long-term business development. Specialized training in the business development and contracting process is required, as is a proven track record of coaching and leading teams.
