About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Must have RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRPS Must-Have: Charge experience preferred or willing to train as charge Description: Position available for a Labor and Delivery RN. Candidates must possess an RN license to qualify for auto offer. This assignment is for 13 weeks with a night shift schedule. Travelers may be called off for one 12-hour shift every two weeks. Weekends will be required on an every-other-weekend basis. Candidates may float to like units to meet facility needs if necessary. Orientation will be provided for 40 hours. Unit operates on a high-risk labor and delivery model. Average daily deliveries are around seven, with higher volumes during peak times. Patients will include both laboring and antepartum individuals. Experience with charge nursing duties is preferred or candidates should be willing to train. Mandatory certifications include BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, and NRPS. Candidates should be familiar with the charting system utilized. Additional skills required include the ability to perform various obstetrical procedures and assessments. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care.
