Research Technician with UF/IFAS H2OSAV Program Apply now Job no: 540895 Work type: Temp Full-Time Location: Main Campus (Gainesville, FL) Categories: Grant or Research Administration, Agricultural Sciences, Agriculture Operations Department: 60420000 - AG-RESOURCE EFFICIENT COMMUNIT Classification Title: Classification Minimum Requirements: N/A Job Description: Conduct statistical analyses, including ANOVA and linear regression Perform data cleaning, organization, and basic data manipulation Apply data transformations and assist with interpretation of quantitative findings Prepare clear written descriptions of analytical methods for manuscripts and technical reports Assist with ongoing residential water conservation research projects Collaborate with faculty and research staff on project-related tasks Conduct literature reviews related to ongoing research $20/hour Required Qualifications: Experience with ANOVA, linear regression, and basic data manipulation Familiarity with data transformations and related analytical techniques Strong written communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines Preferred: Understanding of residential water use and water conservation research Prior experience contributing to peer-reviewed journal articles or academic publications Experience working in a research or academic setting Special Instructions to Applicants: This is a temporary (one year), Time-Limited, full-time (40 hours per M-F work week) position with PREC.
