Medical Laboratory Scientist

Base pay range $35.00/hr - $39.50/hr Join Pride Health as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in Jacksonville, FL . This is a 5-month contract role offering an opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic environment. Role: Medical Laboratory Scientist Shift Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Hours per Week: 40 hours Start Date: ASAP Pay Highlights: $35-39.50/hour (Based on years of experience) Key Responsibilities Perform high-complexity laboratory testing in Chemistry and Hematology . Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments. Accession, process, and analyze specimens accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality assurance standards. Accurately document and report test results in the Cerner Millennium LIS. Collaborate with the laboratory team to support overall Core Lab functions. Assist in blood bank duties as needed (training provided for FT employees). Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology , Clinical Laboratory Science , or a related chemical, physical, or biological science field. Experience: Experience with Cerner Millennium LIS. At least 1 year of training or experience in the specialty area in which testing will be performed. Proficiency in generalist Core Lab testing (Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation). Certifications: ASCP or AMT certification Licensure: Licensed as a Technologist in the state of Florida.
