Location : Charlotte RailYard, 1422 S. Tryon Street, Suite 400, Charlotte, NC 28203
Work Model: Onsite
Contract Dates: November 2, 2026–May 31, 2027
Overview
Client is seeking a Senior Java Developer contractor with experience building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. The role requires payments industry technology experience, strong Java engineering skills, and experience with microservices and cloud-based application development.
Responsibilities
- Manage Java/Java EE application development.
- Provide technical expertise throughout the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing.
Required Qualifications
- 10–12 years of software engineering experience.
- Proven experience applying 12-factor principles.
- Experience with J2EE, Spring, and microservices.
- Cloud experience.
- Experience with API technologies, including REST and API management tools.
- Payments industry technology experience.
- Experience with Domain-Driven Design.
- Proficiency in bounded context analysis.
