Senior ETL Developer (Talend)

Roles and Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Talend. Develop and implement data integration solutions across multiple source and target systems. Build and support SOAP and REST web service integrations within Talend. Create, optimize, and maintain data transformation jobs for structured and semi-structured data. Work with various file formats including JSON, XML, CSV, and flat files. Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects as needed. Monitor ETL processes, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance. Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and development teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to data governance standards. Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in ETL development. Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Talend Data Integration. Strong experience implementing SOAP and REST web services using Talend. Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server. Experience developing data transformations using JSON, XML, CSV, and flat file formats. Strong SQL programming and database querying skills. Experience with version control using Git. Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with cloud-based data platforms. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices. Exposure to data quality, data governance, and metadata management. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
