Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialty in Medical-Surgical nursing. This position requires a flexible and resourceful candidate who is willing to float between similar units or to sister locations as needed.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 7 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed
• One shift cancellation allowed per week

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

Weekend and on-call requirements will be determined by the facility.

Job Comments and Requirements

• Requirements include Navy scrubs.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months of recent Med/Surg experience.
• Life support certifications must be obtained from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice are permitted.
• RTO (Request Time Off) cannot exceed 7 days and must be submitted on the cover page. No RTO is allowed during the first week of the assignment.
• Drivers license to verify residency is required.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Profile Requirements

• Complete cover page specific to the requirements.
• Updated resume listing all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds.
• Med/Surg skills checklist must be completed within the last 12 months.
• Active license to practice must be verified within the last 30 days.
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor is required.
• A copy of the driver's license must be included.
