FTE: 1.0 • Shift: Day • Schedule: 4–10 shifts per week, plus rotating holidays/weekends Requirement: Current driver’s license, auto insurance; vehicle for business purposes. Position Summary This position practices in the Hospice program and is responsible for providing patient care in collaboration with the physician, to include diagnosis, appropriate treatment of disease processes, symptom management, and follow‑up care for the terminally ill patient population. Responsibilities Perform face‑to‑face assessment screenings on Hospice patients based on Medicare Hospice eligibility criteria. Prescribe medication doses, routes, and frequencies based on individual patient assessments. Actively manage, in association with the Hospice Medical Director, Hospice patients at every level of care: Routine, General inpatient, Respite, and Continuous Care. Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines. Requirements Master's degree as ARNP. Certified in Hospice, Family Medicine, or Palliative Care. Graduate of an accredited medical school. Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment. DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority. Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association. Benefits Competitive compensation package . Pay and Benefit Expectations: We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $159,000.00 – $167,400.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
