Duration: Full-time permanent position

Shift: Monday-Friday, outpatient clinic hours

Hours/Week: 40+ hours

License/Certs: Texas medical license, DEA registration (required)

Experience: Minimum 2 years in outpatient family or internal medicine preferred

Pay Rate: $116.46 $140.91/hour (based on experience and training)

What You'll Do

• Provide outpatient primary care to adult patients, averaging approximately 20 patients per day
• Perform detailed patient assessments, including histories, exams, and diagnostics
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, emphasizing preventive care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based guidelines
• Conduct in-person and virtual visits as needed
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Counsel patients and families on disease prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care
• Document all clinical encounters accurately within the EMR system
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental performance goals

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Texas medical license and DEA registration
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• At least 2 years' outpatient experience
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience working in community-based healthcare settings
• Ability to provide virtual healthcare services
