What You'll Do
- Serve as core faculty for the Internal Medicine Health Equity Track, mentoring residents in health equity and quality improvement
- Deliver comprehensive internal medicine outpatient care in a value-based, population-centered clinic
- Use evidence-based practice, population health tools, and risk stratification strategies
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, pharmacists, and community partners
- Teach and supervise residents in primary care, community-engaged medicine, and social determinants of health
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in scholarly activities
- Help develop and refine clinical protocols aligned with ACGME standards and institutional priorities
- Maintain current expertise in internal medicine, health equity research, and value-based care frameworks
What You Need
- Medical license in Texas
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
