Sales Coordinator

Position Summary: ​

Nelson Alarm is looking for an experienced and well-organized Sales Coordinator to provide the necessary support to the field sales and leadership team. The successful candidate will facilitate the sales team activities, assist in maximizing sales closing ratio and provide performance snapshots as it relates to sales goals and objectives. This critical role is a fast-paced communications role, helping both current and future customers get connected with the best sales professional to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Handle real time inbound sales inquiries and calls in a timely manner.
• Coordinate scheduling and changes for sales staff.
• Process incoming contracts for data entry.
• Tracking the quotas and goals of each member of the sales team.
• Entering order information into the company database.
• Assist in preparation of correspondence and proposals for sales team.
• Participate in company cross training program to aid during short staffing periods.
• Meet company expectations for excellent customer satisfaction.
• Provide feedback to management regarding customer comments as a basis to develop ideas for improved sales, processes and procedures.
• Achieve assigned goals and objectives set by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Possess a high energy and positive attitude over the phone
• Must have a proven track record of customer service over the phone
• Intermediate word processing and basic spreadsheet skills required
• Basic data entry and retrieval skills required
• Typing 40+ wpm required.
