Foreclosure Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Foreclosure Attorney in Omaha, NE. The role involves managing a caseload of foreclosure, title, and litigation matters for banks, investors, mortgage servicers, and other creditors. The attorney will ensure compliance and uphold professional responsibility while delivering quality legal services. Duties Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on foreclosure procedures and documentation. Review and analyze client documents, loan documents, and legal pleadings. Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and memoranda. Attend hearings and settlement conferences as required. Communicate case statuses and developments to clients. Respond promptly to communications from various stakeholders. Escalate matters when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage priorities in a high-volume environment. Effective communication with legal and non-legal stakeholders. Self-starter with initiative. Education J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Licensed and in good standing in California; additional state licenses are a plus. Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 2-5 years of litigation experience; experience with secured creditors is a plus. Knowledge of BKFS LoanSphere Default, Sagent Tempo is a plus.
