About the Role: SkyShare is hiring experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) to support our growing, mixed fleet of turbine aircraft. These roles are critical to maintaining fleet availability, safety, and operational excellence across our SLC and OGD maintenance bases. This position is ideal for technicians who are confident working across multiple aircraft platforms, value clean documentation and regulatory compliance, and bring a steady, solutions-focused presence to the hangar. The Mission for this Position: Your mission is to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and document aircraft maintenance and alterations in accordance with 14 CFR regulations, manufacturer guidance, and SkyShare’s General Maintenance Manual. You will perform hands-on maintenance across a premium fleet that includes Gulfstream, Embraer, Pilatus, Citation, and other turbine platforms, while serving as a technical leader on your shift. Your expertise will ensure fleet airworthiness, drive maintenance quality and consistency, support mentorship of technicians, and uphold a safe, organized, and efficient maintenance operation. Qualifications Education & Licensing High School Diploma or equivalent Valid, current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred, but not required Factory training on Gulfstream, Embraer, Pilatus, or Citation aircraft preferred, but not required Experience 5-7 years of hands-on experience maintaining turbine and turboprop aircraft Prior supervisor experience preferred Strong understanding of 14 CFR Part 135 regulations and aviation safety standards Experienced with maintenance tracking programs (e.g., Traxxall, Ebis) and skilled in using digital platforms for documentation and compliance Skills & Attributes Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills across multiple aircraft types Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high-urgency environment while working both independently and collaboratively under pressure Personal/Character Requirements Adaptability & Resilience: Maintains a safety-first mindset and thrives in dynamic, high-pressure environments Effective Communication: Possesses exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal skills, ensuring professionalism across all levels of the organization Responsiveness & Accountability: Demonstrates excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and follow-through skills, consistently demonstrating high accountability in all actions Culture & Mentorship: Serves as a positive influence in the hangar by modeling professionalism, supporting team morale, and fostering a collaborative environment where apprentices and peers learn safe, efficient, and constructive maintenance habits while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Job Responsibilities Serve as Afternoon Shift Lead, directing daily workflow and supervising maintenance technicians to ensure safe, compliant, and timely task execution Prioritize, assign, and monitor maintenance activities based on operational demands and aircraft readiness goals Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and real-time troubleshooting support to technicians and apprentices Review and verify completed work for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and documentation integrity prior to aircraft release Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Flight Operations, and Parts to align shift priorities and minimize downtime Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on turbine and turboprop aircraft Troubleshoot mechanical and avionics discrepancies using sound judgment and a solutions-focused approach Ensure all maintenance is completed in accordance with 14 CFR regulations and SkyShare standards Accurately document maintenance actions using digital tracking and scheduling systems Provide maintenance support at SLC, OGD, and remote on-call locations as required Foster a positive, professional, and accountable hangar culture Salary, Schedule, and Perks: Salary: $40-$47 per hour, DOE Overtime may be required based on operational timelines and fleet needs Offering a $5k sign-on bonus for direct hires (not applicable to recruiting agency placements) Relocation assistance may be offered Schedule: Late-afternoon 2pm start through evening hours Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision plans available Life Insurance: Employer-paid for your peace of mind, with optional additional coverage available Retirement: 401(k) Plan with employer match options Time Off: Competitive paid time off policy Travel Perks: Enjoy free flights on unoccupied trips Location: Must reside in or be willing and able to relocate to the Ogden, Utah area. #J-18808-Ljbffr LV Aero, LLC
