Location : Offshore & Louisiana State Waters
Schedule : 7 days on / 7 days off rotation
Compensation: DOE (based on qualifications, skills, work history, and interview results)
About the Role -
We are now accepting applications for experienced B Production Operators to support offshore production operations. This is a key hands-on role for a safety-focused, technically skilled operator with a strong working knowledge of surface production equipment.
Responsibilities -
- Monitor and record production of gas, oil, and water from computer and meter readings
-Operate a boat
- Operate and monitor offshore production equipment, compressors, pumps, generators, PLC, and pneumatic control panels
- Perform regulatory inspections: test high/low pressure safety devices, check fluid levels in separators/tanks/vessels, inspect wellheads for leaks and deficiencies
- Conduct visual facility inspections for pollution, leaks, temperature variances, and mechanical problems; make appropriate repairs/adjustments
- Perform minor mechanical and equipment repairs (pumps, valves)
- Take production readings and shakeouts
- Run and pull pigs per established schedule
- Assist with well testing and platform maintenance under senior operator guidance
- Assist with crane operations, rigging, and slinging
- Operate crew/work boats as required for facility and personnel transport
- Inspect and test safety and fire extinguishing equipment
- Participate in BSEE/ regulatory testing, paperwork, and production reporting
- Maintain accurate operating logs and production records
- Participate in all safety meetings and JSA processes; plan and prepare for emergency response
- Keep equipment and work areas clean (chip/paint, housekeeping)
Requirements-
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Willing to work a 7/7 rotational schedule
- Previous offshore production operations experience required
- Current training certificates in offshore production operations
- Working knowledge of PLC systems, wellhead and downhole equipment, chemical additives, and artificial lift methods
- Working knowledge of mechanical and rotating power equipment used in oil and gas production
- Strong troubleshooting skills and basic math skills applied to daily duties
- Self-motivated with a strong safety mindset and eagerness to learn
- Familiarity with relevant state and federal regulations
