Job Details Location: Dickinson, ND 58601 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: High School Salary: $18.19 - $24.45 per hour Shift: Evening (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM). Weekend and holiday shifts may be required. Potential day shift on weekends (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). Job Category: Dietary Facility Overview St.Luke’s Home is an 88-bed long‑term, skilled nursing facility providing 24‑hour skilled nursing care, IV therapy, wound care, post‑surgical care, respite care, nutritional therapy, and peritoneal dialysis. The geriatric psychiatric unit houses up to 20 residents. Responsibilities Provide food service to residents, guests, and employees in sanitary conditions per policies and procedures. Assist in all dietary functions that enhance the quality of life and holistic growth of residents. Deliver high‑quality service, transport food and items by cart, organize and set up resident meals, assist residents, and wash dishes. Requirements Practical ability to commute to the facility for each scheduled shift. Authorization to work in the United States. Effective and professional communication with residents and teammates. Previous experience as a Dietary Aide in a healthcare setting preferred; training provided. Read, write, speak, and understand English. Make independent decisions when circumstances require. Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the public. Work harmoniously, independently, with flexibility, integrity, and effectiveness with residents, teammates, and agencies. Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and willingness to handle difficult residents. General good health, emotional stability, and ability to lift, push, pull, and move at least 50 lbs.
