Direct message the job poster from Impact Physician Group Impact Physician Group is a rapidly growing, physician-led healthcare services organization delivering acute and post-acute clinical staffing across the U.S. We operate across multiple states and facility types, with a lean, entrepreneurial team focused on operational excellence, clinician empowerment, and patient-centered care. We are seeking a Controller to lead our accounting operations and partner cross-functionally to support the company’s next stage of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role that will report directly to the CFO and serve as a strategic and operational partner across the organization. What You’ll Do Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AR/AP, payroll accounting, and month-end close Manage and refine internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting processes Oversee preparation of timely, accurate financial statements and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders Collaborate with revenue cycle, clinical, and operations teams to support multi-entity reporting and cash flow visibility Coordinate with third-party vendors for tax, audit, and compliance functions Build, manage, and mentor a lean finance and accounting team Support financial analysis, cash forecasting, and system improvements as we scale Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred) 3-5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a controller or assistant controller role Strong understanding of GAAP, multi-entity accounting, and cash flow reporting High proficiency in Excel and financial systems (QuickBooks, Power BI, or similar) Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing deadlines Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially when working with clinical and non-financial stakeholders Resourceful, adaptable, and energized by building scalable processes in a lean environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in a healthcare, physician services, or multi-location service business Familiarity with payroll, time tracking, or RCM platforms Background in bootstrapped or founder-led companies where team members wear multiple hats Experience with financial system implementations or process automation How to Apply If you're a detail-oriented, hands-on finance leader excited to shape the foundation of a growing healthcare company, we’d love to connect.
