Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate and comprehensive care in an acute care setting. This role involves delivering both direct and indirect patient care with professionalism, initiative, and flexibility, requiring minimal supervision. You will be responsible for triaging patients swiftly and accurately, prioritizing care based on physical and psychosocial needs, and effectively communicating with primary care providers regarding patient status and diagnostic results. The position includes floating to various departments such as Emergency, Obstetrics, and others as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and collaborate with specialists to optimize nursing care plans.
• Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments and reassessments across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Assess and manage pain effectively, educating patients and families on pain management strategies.
• Maintain a safe care environment that minimizes medical errors and promotes quality and professionalism.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring, identify dysrhythmias, and provide appropriate interventions.
• Accurately assign triage categories and maintain detailed nursing documentation including patient histories, treatments, and changes in condition.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license valid in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within one year of hire.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year of hire.
• Preferred: Minimum two years of hospital nursing experience.
