CNA Assisted Living Memory Care PT 10p-6a-(Saturdays & Sundays)-Shift Diff Available

Job Scope: Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents. Responsibilities include providing personal care, changing bed linen, ambulating and transferring residents, recording vital signs, observing residents, participating in data collection, providing hydration, preparing residents for meals, maintaining housekeeping standards, answering call lights, attending in-service education programs, fostering teamwork, and seeking out other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Compassion for seniors, no previous experience required, two years' experience preferred, excellent communication skills, knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office and web-based software systems.

Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, up to 50 pounds, vision due to computer work, interaction with co-workers, residents, or vendors, occasional weekend, holiday, evening, or night work, possible exposure to communicable diseases, potential injury from transferring, repositioning, or lifting residents, exposure to latex, possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens, various drugs, chemical, infectious, or biological hazards, subject to injury from falls, burns, odors, or cuts from equipment, regular, predictable attendance.
