Receptionist

Job Title
Do you have a friendly voice and enjoy speaking on the phone? Do you have basic knowledge of insurance and a desire to grow professionally? If so, this position may be a fit for you. We are a local independent insurance agency that sells auto, home and business insurance. It is important that the first person our customers speak with provides a great first impression while having the ability to solve problems and stay organized.
Skills Required:
- Friendly and positive attitude.
- Enjoy speaking on the phone.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks throughout the day.
- Work as part of a team.
- Quick learner.
Job Requirements:
- Answer the phone and transfer calls to the appropriate area.
- Call customers to follow up on needed documents.
- Work with agent to meet goals.
- Gather personal information from prospective customers.
- Call customers who have a policy in a canceling status.
Would be a great introduction into the insurance industry with advancement opportunities. Many people have used this position to work towards becoming an agent. Our goal is to keep the office atmosphere productive but a fun place to come into every day.
