Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Job Summary:

Provides advanced nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic and gastrointestinal procedures. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and compliance with clinical standards during all stages of care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assist physicians during endoscopic and GI procedures, ensuring proper equipment setup and sterile technique.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and comfort levels throughout procedures, responding promptly to any changes.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and sedation as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Document procedure details, patient responses, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and their families about pre- and post-procedure care instructions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid California RN license with uploaded verification from Nursys within the past two weeks.
  
  
• 
  Current AHA or ARC certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical nursing setting, preferably in endoscopy or GI.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexibility, including weekday call, regular shifts, and rotating weekends.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills with attention to safety.
