This facility provides hospital-based and outpatient pediatric clinic services to a pediatric patient population. The facility maintains established clinical protocols to support inpatient, call, and outpatient clinic coverage, including Level 1 Nursery services. Clinical operations are structured on-site and are supported by registered nurses in the Labor and Delivery department.

New York State offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor recreation and cultural attractions throughout its diverse regions. The state features scenic landscapes, state parks, and waterfront areas, along with year-round activities suited to a variety of interests. Clinicians will find recreational, dining, and cultural options accessible across the region.

The clinician will provide outpatient pediatric clinic coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, inpatient service coverage from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM, call coverage from 4:45 PM to 7:45 AM, and 24-hour coverage from 7:45 AM to 7:45 AM the following day. Both assigned and unassigned call are required as part of this assignment. An anticipated caseload of 0-10 patients per day is expected; Level 1 Nursery coverage and neonatal resuscitation are required, while no surgeries or procedures are required. Board certification in Pediatrics, an active state medical license, PALS, BLS, prescriptive authority, and neonatal resuscitation competency are required for this assignment.
