Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of healthcare experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Medical office experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Insurance verification or authorization experience

About the Role

We're seeking a Medical Front Office Coordinator to support daily patient operations in a busy healthcare practice. This role is responsible for patient scheduling, managing provider calendars, and delivering excellent customer service while helping ensure efficient clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments
• Maintain provider schedules and appointment calendars
• Assist patients with follow-up appointments and care coordination
• Support front office and administrative functions
• Prepare forms and routine documentation
• Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance standards

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Amarillo, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
