Full Time New York, NY, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1021 Salary Range: $120,000.00 To $135,000.00 Annually Job Summary: Partner with VP of Sales and other team members and contribute to building profitable, long-term relationships with our clients to reach our business objectives. You will be responsible for the ongoing account management and business development of existing accounts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules may be subject to change in order to meet company needs and business requirements. Develop, grow and maintain existing accounts Track sales vs budget and use this to prioritize development that best meets goals Coordinate product development for branded and private label programs to customers focusing bedding as a category. Respond to customer and internal sales requests and resolve issues within specified timeframe via phone, email. Together with Other Senior Account Manager, prepare for sales presentations for new items in New York Office or Seattle & India meetings Sample development / tracking & to send to customer line reviews after internal review. Kickoff new projects and assign tasks to team members via our PD software platform, Be Product. Follow-up as needed on costs, packaging, color/print approvals and related product development. Coordinate POs with inhouse and sourcing teams, track POs, follow up on sample requests, work with planner on following up with ship dates Maintain account details in company database (accruals for accurate costing, loads, terms) Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment Be a frequent observer of retail trends in our categories by visiting stores and updating comp shops as needed monthly. Monitor digital presentations of key programs, suggesting marketing or asset-building to drive sales Occasional travel as required for trade shows and customer visits Partner with Marketing to assist in packaging design and ensure all packaging is executed in a timely manner, approved by customer and is available for on-time ship Other duties as assigned to meet business needs Creative with marketing, photography and digital platforms Must be efficient in Microsoft excel, PowerPoint and word.
