We are seeking a skilled Reach Truck Forklift / Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. This vital role involves operating specialized equipment to efficiently handle materials, manage inventory, and fulfill order picking requirements.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in warehouse operations, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance, contributing significantly to our distribution efficiency and overall productivity. Monday- Friday 1st Shift

$18.00 to $20.00 (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
• Perform accurate order picking using barcode scanning systems and manual methods to fulfill customer orders promptly.
• Manage inventory levels through regular stock counts, updating warehouse management systems (WMS), and ensuring proper storage practices.
• Load and unload shipments while adhering to OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to ensure optimal operation.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage.
• Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing materials for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Use basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while complying with safety standards in production environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklift trucks (Lift truck), equipment within a warehouse setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management practices, and barcode scanning technology.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards including OSHA regulations related to material handling and heavy equipment operation.
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving processes along with familiarity with materials handling procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to follow warehouse procedures related to heavy equipment operation and safety standards in production environments.
• Warehouse experience with a focus on logistics coordination, materials handling, and warehouse distribution is highly desirable.
