You will work as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team that may include physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and case managers, all committed to patient-centered care and functional outcomes.This is a 13-week assignment with 8-hour day shifts, providing a structured schedule that supports work-life balance and time to explore the St. Paul area. A typical day includes assisting with evaluations under the direction of a physical therapist, implementing individualized treatment plans, progressing therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training, and documenting care in the EMR in a timely and accurate manner. You will support patients with activities such as gait training, balance work, transfer training, strengthening, and endurance activities tailored to each person's goals and abilities.Patient caseload is primarily geriatric, with a mix of short-term rehab and long-term care residents. You can expect a consistent, manageable caseload with clear productivity expectations and support from on-site therapy leadership.
