We are looking for early-career professionals (0-3 years of experience) with strong hands-on Core Java knowledge. Java is the primary requirement for this role; experience in other programming languages will not substitute for Java experience. This role includes structured training to build expertise in Selenium and test automation frameworks. Primary Skills Core Java (mandatory - primary programming language) Java-based Selenium Automation Testing SQL (writing complex queries) Test Case Design & Execution What You'll Do Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Core Java and Selenium Enhance existing automation frameworks Design and develop functional and integration test cases Collaborate with development teams to understand product changes and update test scripts Participate in Agile processes and team discussions Document test cases, automation processes, and results Support manual testing when required What We're Looking For 0–2 years of experience (up to 3 years acceptable) Strong hands-on knowledge/experience in Core Java (mandatory) Java should be the candidate's primary programming language; non-Java experience alone will not be considered a substitute for Java experience Basic exposure to Selenium or Java-based automation testing (training will be provided) Knowledge of SQL Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills Education Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred (Computer Science or related field) Minimum 2.5 GPA recommended Pay & Benefits Salary range: $80K – $100K Competitive compensation with performance incentives Health and life insurance benefits Retirement benefits Paid Time Off and wellness support Hybrid work model (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Cogent InfoTech is an equal opportunity employer.
