Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Blow Molding Supervisor to oversee production operations, lead machine operators, and ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support machine operators and production employees.
Ensure production schedules, quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies are followed.
Troubleshoot equipment, material, and quality issues and make necessary adjustments.
Monitor production and QC documentation, including shift logs and SPC processes.
Ensure proper lockout/tagout and PPE procedures are followed.
Conduct shift meetings and provide employee training as needed.
Coordinate staffing and materials to meet production requirements.
Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management.
Support continuous improvement, housekeeping, and workplace safety.
Approve overtime and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing supervisory experience required.
Blow molding/plastic processing experience required.
Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and QC documentation.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Forklift certification/license required.
Strong understanding of lockout/tagout procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work overtime, flexible hours, and occasional weekends/on-call.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and maneuver up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, work at various heights, and perform overhead work.
