Growing together. We are seeking a per diem Anatomic Pathologist to provide vacation and absences coverage for our pathology team. This role is ideal for a flexible, highly skilled pathologist who enjoys collaborative practice and maintaining high-quality diagnostic standards in a dynamic environment. Primary Responsibilities: Provide coverage for routine surgical pathology sign-outduring planned absences and vacations Deliver timely, accurate written pathology reports Maintain adherence to turnaround time goals and quality metrics Participate in peer review and quality assurance activitiesas applicable Support laboratory operations in compliance with CAP, CLIA, and regulatory requirements What makes an Optum organization different? Required Qualifications MD or DO with completion of accredited pathology residency Board Certifiedin Anatomic Pathology Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts Preferred Qualifications Experience in both surgical pathology and cytology Prior experience Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $147.84 to $253.85 per hour. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
