Assembly Technician

This is your opportunity to contribute as an Assembly Technician. You will report to the Bevcorp Operations Manager and work at our Eastlake, Ohio facility on the Blender, Filler, and Seamers lines. Responsibilities Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts and pieces using a variety of hand tools and equipment. Complete safety programs within JBT expectations, including BBSO's and Near Misses, to exceed safety goals. Read and interpret basic blueprints for assembling machines to proper specifications. Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets standards, documenting defects as needed. Use in‑house mechanical equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists while following safety procedures. Maintain work areas, equipment, tools, and machines in a safe, neat, and orderly condition. Clock in and out of jobs, rework, projects, and builds using the E10 system. Operate bead blast, power wash, and paint booths. Travel on short notice as part of the apprenticeship program. Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, and reassemble machines. Set up and adjust machines to equipment specifications. Keep training jacket updated daily with on‑the‑job training details and level signoffs. Perform all tasks with required safety equipment and comply with all safety regulations and company policies. After completing the apprenticeship, transfer to the Field Service department. Qualifications Great attendance is a requirement. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift and carry 50–75 pounds. Strong mathematical skills. Ability to balance maintenance quality while staying on a timeline. Strong teamwork skills within a small team environment.
