Experience: Minimum 1 Year of Hospital Pharmacy Experience Required

We are seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position in Lancaster, Ohio. This role supports hospital pharmacy operations on a 7-on/7-off night schedule and requires the ability to work independently while collaborating with Certified Pharmacy Technicians and other healthcare professionals.

The Staff Pharmacist will ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing, monitor medication therapy, provide clinical drug information, and support overnight pharmacy operations.

• Review, verify, and accurately dispense medication orders in accordance with physician prescriptions and hospital policies.

• Monitor patient medication therapy to support safe, effective, and evidence-based treatment.

• Provide medication and drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Respond to medication-related emergencies and provide timely pharmaceutical interventions.

• Maintain accurate documentation, medication inventory, regulatory compliance, and quality standards while overseeing overnight pharmacy operations.

• Active Ohio Pharmacist License in Good Standing Required.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD From an ACPE-Accredited Program Required.

• Minimum 1 Year of Hospital Pharmacy Experience Required.

• Strong Knowledge of Inpatient Medication Management, Pharmacy Regulations, and Clinical Pharmacy Practices Required.

• Strong Communication, Problem-Solving, Organizational, and Teamwork Skills Required.

The Staff Pharmacist will support safe, accurate, and efficient medication management throughout overnight hospital operations.
