Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound exams such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure delivery of optimal diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
