School Social Worker

As a School Social Worker in West Chicago, IL, your days will Include:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students
• Conduct social-emotional and behavioral assessments as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and related service providers to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Develop intervention strategies to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Consult with families and connect them with appropriate community resources
• Assist with crisis intervention and behavior support planning
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines

• Elementary school setting
• 32.5 hours per week
• Building-wide social work coverage
• Contract dates: August 14, 2026 - June 3, 2027
• On-site position

Successful Candidates Possess

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
