HIRING IMMEDIATELY and ON THE SPOT

PHCA is seeking certified job coaches who can provide supported employment per guidelines established by the Office of Developmental Programs.

Certification can be done in one of two ways:

Option #1: applicant already has completed job coaching certification through an Office of Developmental Programs approved channel. Applicant would need no additional training but would need to show certification is complete.

Option #2: applicant is hired as a support services professional conditionally while becoming certified through an approved channel. Applicant would have 60 days from start date to become certified in order to maintain employer per Office of Developmental Programs guidelines.

Description: The position would require the certified job coach to meet with individuals at their current employers, provide career assessment and job finding. There the job coach would motivate individuals through their shifts.

Qualified applicants: Must have or be willing to obtain (within 60 days) required certification through the Office of Developmental Programs. Should have experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Applicant must also be familiar or be willing to become familiar with person centered language. High School Diploma or GED are required. Experience as a job coach is not required but applicant must be willing to learn the role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.75 per hour
