What You'll Do In this role, you'll work closely with business owners and nonprofit leaders to manage their day-to-day accounting, improve processes, and turn financial data into something useful. Core responsibilities include: Manage and oversee full-cycle accounting for multiple clients (monthly close, reconciliations, financial reporting, etc.) Work extensively in QuickBooks Online and related apps to maintain accurate, real-time financials Help clients clean up, streamline, and improve their accounting systems and workflows Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency - then help implement them Deliver clear, timely financial reports and help clients understand what the numbers mean Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning conversations Serve as a go-to contact for clients - responsive, proactive, and solutions-oriented Collaborate with our tax and advisory teams to ensure a seamless client experience Who We're Looking For Someone who enjoys both the technical side of accounting and the people side. Someone who sees messy processes and thinks, "there's a better way to do this." You're a great fit if you have: A degree in accounting or relevant hands-on experience (CPA preferred but not required) Experience with full-cycle accounting (public accounting or industry) Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or similar cloud-based systems) A mindset geared toward process improvement, efficiency, and smart use of technology The ability to manage multiple clients and priorities with attention to detail Strong communication skills - you can explain financials in plain language A proactive, problem-solving approach (you don't wait to be asked) Interest in working closely with small businesses and nonprofits to help them grow What Makes This Role Different This isn't a traditional "behind-the-scenes" accounting role.
