Seeking an experienced AI Tech Lead for a remote contract position, this role will set the technical direction for a fast-moving AI build team, write production-grade code, and transform innovative ideas into real-world applications. Key responsibilities Set the technical direction and own the architecture of AI-powered applications from prototype to production Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using modern technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, and Python Lead code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and mentor other engineers Required qualifications 7+ years of professional software development experience with strong core JavaScript and TypeScript skills Practical experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, and proficiency in Python Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot Experience mentoring engineers and leading code reviews Proven experience building effective AI agents using industry-standard frameworks
