Assist in determining donor suitability Establish rapport with donors to ensure customer happiness while maintaining donor confidentiality Respond to and assist with donor reactions Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment Work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and extreme cold in the plasma freezer Use required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear Requirements High School diploma or GED Superior customer service standards Ability to work a flexible schedule Interest in making a difference in the world Required state licensures or certifications where applicable Ability to stand for 6 to 8 hours per day Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1-2 hours per day Frequent hand movement and ability to make fast, simple movements of fingers, hands, and wrists Ability to make precise coordinated finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects Frequent foot movement; ability to walk up to 6-8 hours per day Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
