Registered Nurse - Clinical - Cardiovascular Stepdown

Job Summary Registered Nurses provide comprehensive nursing care for patients during their hospital stay, coordinating with other disciplines and following a patient-centered approach. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments, documenting all findings accurately. Develop and evaluate individualized care plans based on assessment data, diagnosis, and physician orders. Implement nursing interventions and administer medications,IV fluids, and nutrition per policy. Communicate patient information and handoff reports to the care team. Provide specialized care to high-risk patients, including restraint use, pain management, and abuse assessments. Maintain professional accountability, adhering to quality, performance, and infection control standards. Collaborate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and patients/families. Follow safety, infection control, and environmental standards, reporting risks and incidents. Deliver service excellence by respecting patient needs, maintaining confidentiality, and enhancing satisfaction. Integrate performance improvement and evidence-based practice into daily care. Provide age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric patients, tailoring communication and interventions. Use resources efficiently, document costs, and prioritize responsibilities to achieve cost-effective care. Qualifications Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Missouri.
