What You Will Be Doing As a Category Management Manager within the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) organization, this leader will execute sourcing strategies for development programs and emerging technologies. This position is responsible for managing a team of professional Subcontract Administrators and Subcontract Managers who administer subcontracts and purchase orders for several Advanced Development Programs. They will collaborate with our Material Program Managers on the overall Acquisition Strategy across all the Programs we support. This position is responsible for directing all phases of the subcontracts from sourcing strategies, initiation, Request for proposals (RFP's), proposals, negotiations, issuing purchase orders, long-term agreements, internal audits, cost accountability executive reviews, supplier reviews, program reviews, contract closeout, compliance requirements and all associated metrics. This position is also tasked with coordinating employee selection/hiring, training, development, performance and assessments, work assignments, and disciplinary actions.
