Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ or Philly - Hybrid Duration: 6 months

Job description We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with 7+ years of experience and knowledge in engineering security solutions. Essential functions include ensuring security best practices in cloud infrastructure, developing and implementing security automation into deployment pipelines and tooling, defining and managing network, infrastructure, and service security within cloud deployments, conducting POC for cloud security solutions, acting as the ambassador and senior technical representative for Enterprise Security, partnering with Engineering, Infrastructure Services, and Application Development organizations to choose appropriate technology solutions, creating security engineering deliverables based on high-level directives and principles, producing high-quality security engineering specifications and technical documentation, ensuring security tools are deployed with appropriate security policies and rules, and staying current with industry trends in the information security space.

Required skills/experience include 7+ or more years of experience with Cloud Security Engineering, 5 or more years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, programming experience with languages such as Python, Java, Scala, etc., experience in security best practices and solutions in Azure, AWS, or Google, experience with the DevSecOps principles and processes, familiarity with Security in serverless architecture and application designs, familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.), familiarity with comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes (secure software development, data protection, cryptography, key management, and network security) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments, familiarity with common and industry standard cloud-native authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc.). Strong written and oral skills.
