Assignment Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Requirements
- Active California LVN license (must be active at submission)
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- IV therapy & blood withdrawal certification required
- Minimum 2 years LVN outpatient clinic experience
- Recent, strong venipuncture experience REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Perform high‑volume venipuncture (1–5 vials per patient)
- Administer vaccinations and medications (IM, SQ, oral)
- Start and maintain IVs as needed
- Conduct blood glucose testing and EKGs
- Perform medication reconciliation and pain assessments
- Provide telephone triage and patient education
- Assist with nurse visits and clinic workflows
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
