Role Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving functional milestones
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Leverage evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living abilities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families about therapy techniques that support ongoing improvement at home
• Track and Report Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that patients remain on a successful path

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications will be encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
