Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a challenging role in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a specialized unit, managing various patient diagnoses and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac, respiratory, COVID-19, infectious diseases, and pre- and post-operative needs.
• Monitor patient vitals and conditions, implementing care plans and interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while adhering to safety protocols.
• Participate in patient education and support to promote health management and recovery.
• Perform special procedures relevant to the unit's certifications and requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; previous experience in a PCU, Med Surge, or telemetry setting preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems is required.
• Must be willing to float to sister units as needed.
• Local candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Shift Details

This position involves a 4x12-hour day shift, from 07:00 to 19:00, with every other weekend coverage required.
