What You Will Do Help define and drive execution of this development program based on product vision, strategy, and goals, aligning with customer flight test and deployment milestones. Own technical decisions and risk position of the developmental efforts. Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across the program engineering team and other functions to meet or exceed cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Act as the primary technical point of contact with the execution team and communicate to senior leaders and customer technical points of contact. Influence technical and product line road maps, ensuring they are reflected in program planning and execution. Plan and lead the execution of capability insertion for flight tests, incremental deployment of capabilities, and delivery of missiles. Technically engage with major subcontractors and partners to ensure product deliverables. Direct a multi-disciplined engineering team in support of the development of the key capabilities. Qualifications (Must Have) Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience. Experience with system development and design, requirements development, system management, verification, system integration and test, and production. Experience working on modular systems architectures and product lines. Experience as a technical leader capable of developing work plans and driving execution. Experience leading engineering teams. Experience managing resources with multi-million‑dollar annual budgets. Experience in strategic development, customer interface, or contract capture in the defense industry. Ability to obtain U.S. government issued interim Secret security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship required. Qualifications (Preferred) Raytheon Level 4 Certified Chief Engineer. Excellent communication, technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills. Experience in leading and executing production of complex system architectures. Demonstrated experience across the product lifecycle, including concept development, architecture, design, integration, verification, and production. Proven ability to develop effective internal and external customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and continued business. Direct experience with Engineering Risks and Opportunities (R&O) Management. Master’s degree in engineering, physics, or related discipline.
