Phlebotomy Site Coordinator

Phlebotomy Site Coordinator – Toms River, NJ Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:45am – 3:15pm and rotating Saturdays 6:15am – 11:15am Responsibilities Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors. Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs. Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary. Address customer service related issues promptly and respectfully. Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. One year or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications One year or more of experience as a people leader. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Compensation Pay Range: $20.99 – $27.00 per hour. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. The role includes phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures at LabCorp Patient Service Centers under minimal supervision. Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee activities of Patient Service Centers in the assigned area. Work closely with PSC staff, management, laboratory staff, and clients to ensure optimal operation.
