Key Responsibilities Payment Processing: Accurately and promptly process incoming payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers, etc.) to client accounts. Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and reconcile payment discrepancies, collaborating with internal teams and clients to resolve issues. Record Maintenance: Maintain detailed and organized records of cash application activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and audit requirements. Problem Solving: Research and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments, ensuring all accounts are up-to-date and accurate. Team Leadership: Oversee and manage the activities of the GCOE Cash Application Team, fostering collaboration and driving efficiency. Streamline processes to enhance productivity and ensure seamless operations. Team Collaboration: Partner with collections and accounts receivable teams to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency. Reporting: Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on cash application activities to support decision-making. Audit Support: Assist with audits by providing accurate documentation and insights as needed. About You Required A Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software. Preferred A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
