Job Title: Clinical Specialist (CRA)

Job Description

The Clinical Specialist is responsible for executing clinical trials efficiently by supporting site management and monitoring activities. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and protocols by conducting site visits, verifying data accuracy, and safeguarding patient rights. Additionally, the specialist will implement field-based clinical support, providing information and training to customers in the use of specific products within clinical settings such as operating rooms and outpatient clinics.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor assigned clinical studies to ensure compliance and successful execution.

• Collaborate with Clinical Trial Managers (CTMs) and clinical affairs staff to provide comprehensive support.

• Assist the study team in planning clinical supplies, focusing on the Investigational Product.

• Provide site training for study and clinical products, ensuring effective usage.

• Offer on-site clinical, technical, and educational support, guiding medical staff in using medical devices.

Essential Skills

• Strong field clinical monitoring experience and site management of investigational medical devices.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical trials and patient safety.

• Medical device lifecycle management expertise.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

• Direct experience in operating rooms.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in clinical monitoring and site management.

• Undergraduate degree in Nursing or Biomedical Engineering.

• Preferred nursing experience in clinical settings.

• Ability to train and provide educational information in healthcare environments.

• Experience with medical devices, including tissue repair, restoration, nerve repair, and hernia.

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid or remote work environment, with a preference for candidates in the Boston area. It involves 50% continental US travel, mostly on the East Coast, with same-day or overnight trips. The role is innovative, combining clinical operations and field clinical specialist product support, with a high possibility of renewal due to planned studies extending into 2027. The team is small, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Remote, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
